Cookies & Storage

This page explains, in plain language, how Outback Empire uses storage in your browser while you enjoy Empire of Gold. We keep things to an absolute minimum — just enough to make the game work and remember your choices.

What we store

Rather than advertising cookies, we use a small amount of your browser's local storage to remember:

  • Your age confirmation — so you don't have to confirm you're 18 or over every single visit.
  • Your storage preference — the choice you make on the storage notice (Accept All or Essential Only).
  • Game preferences — settings such as sound, and any in-game progress, if applicable, so the game feels the way you left it.

What we don't do

  • We don't use advertising or marketing trackers.
  • We don't build profiles about you or follow you across other sites.
  • We don't store any payment information, because there are no payments.

Why we use it

These items are essential to a smooth experience: they keep you from repeating the age check, respect your storage choice, and let the game remember your preferences. Without them, the game would forget everything each time you opened it.

Managing or deleting your data

You're always in control. You can remove everything we've stored by clearing your browser's site data:

  • Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → choose "Cookies and other site data".
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → remove this site.
  • Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data.

Clearing this data simply means you'll be asked to confirm your age and set your preferences again next time.
